Switzerland’s major fintech event on September 8th at SIX ConventionPoint in Zurich
Zurich - 01/14/2021 – Swiss Fintech Fair will take place on September 8th, 2021 at SIX ConventionPoint which is located directly at the Swiss stock exchange in Zurich. After last year’s Swiss Fintech Fair has been successfully moved to an online platform due to the COVID-19 situation, in 2021 the flagship event of fintech in Switzerland will be hosted in-person according to the motto #backtogether21.
The Swiss Fintech Fair combines an excellent event mix of trade fair, conference, and networking. In the exhibitor section start-ups as well as established providers of all fintech clusters can present at their booths. The accompanying stage agenda will feature innovation pitches, keynotes, panel discussions as well as expert talks. The overall program will be flanked by networking lounges to enable deeper exchanges between the attendees.
In 2020 the Swiss Fintech Fair was successfully hosted as an online event on a digital trade fair platform. With approximately 1’000 attendees from about 30 countries, the online edition of the Swiss Fintech Fair was a great success. This year the Swiss fintech community wants to meet face-to-face again. This request was expressed in a survey conducted by the industry association Swiss Fintech. 67% of the respondents wished for a physical or hybrid event concept for 2021.

Zurich’s SIX ConventionPoint is located directly at the Swiss stock exchange and offers room for exhibitor booths, a stage program as well as VIP networking lounges. Concerning the recently launched vaccination campaigns and also bearing in mind the usual weather conditions in late summer, the 8th of September will be the ideal date to host the Swiss Fintech Fair as an in-person event.
